Rid of Me-- amazing and as shadowboxer said epic. nothing else like it, plus it has sentimental value haha
Uh Huh Her-- for me, that cover tells you exactly what kind of album you're going to listen to. no offense, but the picture is ugly and the album is ugly at times and they fit each other perfect and i love it. the end.
White Chalk-- beautiful. beautiful tone. i. love. that. hair.

so, by "album cover", do we mean not only the front/cover page but the entire inlay with artwork?

Well that's why there's 3 options, someone asked me the exact same question last time but you could only vote for 1 then. This time you have 3 options because I think some people will regard one as more important then the other. Some consider the whole album art more important, some just the cover. So with 3 choices you can decide which of both I hope.

Rid of Me has always been my favorite. The black and white with Polly's face flying up from out of view expresses the music on the album perfectly.

1. Rid of Me <---nothing says "PJ Harvey" like this now iconic image
2. To Bring You My Love - Grabbing image, gorgeous, rich colors, and I love the simplicity of the type face.
3. Stories From the City, Stories from the Sea - another great image that perfectly captures the style of music within. Plus, she's wearing Prada people! ;)

3.5(hehehe) White Chalk - Again, arresting image, perfect for the music and the feel and just, everything.

1. ROM
2. TBYML
3. WC

The ROM cover is truely startling.

I like the TBYML cover since it displays the first hints of Polly's artistic as well as literary bent. I'm sure Polly and Maria were familiar with the famous Millais painting. The Ophelia theme runs through a lot of Polly's songs. There was even an academic paper written regarding this.

The WC cover and her expressionless expression does an excellent job of capturing the mood of WC.
