Wow, a lot of stuff I hadn't heard of cool! Sure sau, add as many on as you like :) I only said 10 because I wasn't sure how interested people would've been in making longer lists. I'm going to have to order that movie fight club because they only carry brand new stuff (mostly crap) at my local dvd shop. It has brad pitt so he's usually in great movies LOVED his performance in Se7en with morgan freeman! I'll add more to mine now

March of the penguins
The Bell Jar
Romy and Michelle's Highscool reunion
We were soldiers
The Birds
Dog Day Afternoon
Sweeny Todd
Gothicka
Room 408
The Terminal
The Dark Knight
This could take a while..........

1. The Unforgiven
2. Chinatown
3. Citizen Kane
4. There Will Be Blood
5. No Country for Old Men
6. Barton Fink
7. 2001 A Space Odyssey
8. Lawrence of Arabia
9. L.A. Confidential
10. The Usual Suspects

Oh, and American Beauty, just about anything by Alfred Hitchcock, English Patient, more Kubrick, Lean, Lynch movies...

Funny you should mention it, I actually read it only a few weeks ago! Miranda July is one gifted lady. I haven't seen any other film of hers though, have you?

(And that has to be the best movie quote ever.)

i read it about a year ago and then bought it for a friend for her birthday cause i loved it so much :) i haven't seen any other full lengths of her (does she have any others?) but i've seen one of her short films, "are you the favorite person of anybody?": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-t-5PLQgcSA

what a clever, funny idea.

and this: http://www.learningtoloveyoumore.com/ if you haven't seen it; sadly the project's over but it was a great idea; brought complete strangers together.
and about the quote: my friend katherine used to text me that some times and i'd just start cracking up where ever i was; instant day brightener.
