Big news from their newsletter:

Thank you for waiting

Radiohead are pleased to announce that their new album, The King Of Limbs, is now available to pre-order from http://www.thekingoflimbs.com

There are digital and physical versions of the album available:

The digital version is available in both MP3 (320kbps) and WAV formats.

The physical, 'Newspaper Album' comprises two clear
10" vinyl records in a purpose-built record sleeve,
a compact disc, many large sheets of newspaper artwork, 625 tiny pieces of artwork, and a full-colour piece of
oxo-degradable plastic to hold everything together.
The Newspaper Album also includes a digital download.

Pre-ordered digital will be available to download on Saturday 19th February.

For the next few weeks, The King Of Limbs will be exclusively available from our website,
but from March 28th it will be on general release on CD, 12" vinyl and digital download in all good record stores.

I wasn't expecting it so soon! And so sudden (like I haven't learned anything from In Rainbows).

I still have to check out The Bends.

My LES fixation will be getting in the way.

Thanks, Pocket Knife. Good news.

'In Rainbows' and 'The Bends' are both great albums.

Loving 'Codex'

Think the rest of them will grow on me, as Amnesiac/Hail To The Thief did

The album is very reminiscent of Thom's solo work. I like his work a lot, but I'm not completely wowed as it sounds like something I've already heard before. Obviously it'd be unfair to expect them to blow me away everytime, and I agree it could be a grower. I'm just not used to that cause even HttT, my least favorite of the 00's, won me over at first listen. I felt like there were instant classics, while I can't even pick a favorite track from this one yet, it all sounds very uniform.

Oh wow I'm loving Lotus Flower a lot!! Creep is one of my all time favorite songs, it's truly amazing. Fake Plastic Trees & High & Dry are really stellar songs to. :)

for me the new Radiohead album really not disappointed me, but it surprised me not enough, and heard not much but overall it is a good album, maybe that sounds like Kid A or Tom Yorke's solo album, such may need more time to like, for example the new album by Polly LES I liked from the first time I heard, just as I spend the last album of Blonde Redhead, or the new Lykke Li at first I liked instance, I'm almost sure is the first installment of this record and still missing some songs but it is too short to be a Radiohead album¡¡¡ :green:

Listening for the first time now
Not bad at all...
Did anybody else like the 2006 Exit Music: Songs with radio heads...?
Pete Kuzma's High and Dry is exceptional! as are most of the tracks, I think.
