Billy Bragg - Everywhere (Written by Greg Trooper & Sid Griffin) And his 'Sexuality' (with Kirsty MacColl and Johnny Marr) - Brilliant, funny lyrics. From his very good 'Don't Try This At Home' album. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TN9-l-Oy6KY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxALQQyaJaE |

The Fall's 'Our Future Your Clutter'. I bought it with Polly's album (cd and vinyl, of course!). I might start referring to it as 'Let England Shake-er' (in-joke for The Fall fans). |

Pink Floyd's The Final Cut... (prior to Let England Shake-release) That was 30 years ago, but not much changed in the horrors of war... and the marks it leaves on society Really feel there's a thoughtfulness and desperation comparable to PJ's... NO COMPARISON, musicwise, though PJ 4EVER |
