Amen. Girls that don't play a guitar aren't bad, either. ;-)

I might go to see Leah Mason, who plays a guitar, on Tuesday.
I don't know much about her; not many clips on youtube.

Sisters Colette and Hannah Thurlow of 2:54 look and sound great attacking their guitars. I really look forward to what they are going to do next year. I saw them supporting Warpaint last month and they were good and loud! They supported Blood Red Shoes this year too and they are in the middle of supporting Melissa Auf Der Maur. 2:54 are definitely a band I'm liking at the moment.

[quote="50 Ft JJ"]I just came here to post a Warpaint pic too - nice coincidence :D

Yes, lovely photo, that one.

When I went to see them recently I had the pleasure of standing by the side of the stage where Stella was playing drums with Jenny on bass. (Small, not very good venue; drummer tucked away so that a lot of the audience couldn't see Stella!)

Stella's drumming is a joy to behold when you are that close. Jenny's always great to watch:

I think that's what she did first... her bio says she began at 7.
Having seen this video before hearing her music, I was a tad disappointed. But damn she's hot anyway!
She just released an EP which you can download for free on her website: florrie.com as long as you make publicity for her. Which I just did :)

I have to admit, I hadn't heard of florrie!

Laura-Mary Carter does a bit of drumming...

Did anyone else catch "Lip Service"? The new UK lesbian drama? It's only 6 episodes, but from episode one, I couldn't stop looking at Ruta Gedmintas.:

Yes, you must! I dare say its better than the L-Word (though I had a very low view of that show anyway! / blasphemy)

Thanks for the reminder, Pitifuljoy.
Sorry yarn, I was going to mention this show to you a few weeks back.
There were mixed reviews for it though.

I only saw a bit of one episode, and, oh, what an episode!
Some very...erm, enjoyable scenes in that one. ;-)

The actress sitting on the floor, Roxanne McKee, was born in Worthing - where 'A Perfect Day Elise' video was shot -, just down the road from my hometown.

The show is alright and the sex scenes are hot, but honestly none of them does much for me. Tess is adorkable, though.

Tess is totally adorkable  . She and Ed are my favorite characters. The rest are just eye candy. :D

^Except Jay, who's just an ass. :booty:

Ed is lovely. I feel bad for him, but I hope they don't try coupling them up.

I read the show got really good ratings so they should be having a second series. It takes a little to pick up in my view, but it's good to have a lezzie show and it's grown on me. I can't compare it to The L cause for me there were two L's, the one I loved for two (and a half?) seasons and the one I hated afterwards. What I can say is that it's less glamorized and I welcome that.
