I'm just awake on first morning of three week holiday in New York! This morning am in Long Beach, with the sound of the sea and the exercising life guards to accompany me.

So what would make for a a good PJ soundtrack to this trip then?

Three weeks? In New York? Damn you! :-) I love that place. Only spent around 9 to 10 days in Manhattan. Three weeks?! Got to go to the East Village, Paul. Can you say "Hello" to Elizabeth Street for me? It's just off Bleecker Street, near where CBGB's used to be. I walked past CBGB's every day when I was there. I went in the Gallery next door, one night.

Soundtrack? Just any Polly will do for me; I'd just pick anything for myself...I'm back walking from East 11th Street, up 5th Avenue, to the Guggenheim Museum - that's a long walk! - with a green-eyed Italian American, originally from Boston. Unfortunately, for me, she had good taste and good eye-sight. :-( .......Sorry, carry on. Have a good time. Three bloody weeks?!

Just thought of 'The Faster I Breathe The Further I Go'

'I'm walking outside and
The headlights are blinding
I'm walking on Bleecker
The street of no cheer'

"Three weeks? In New York? Damn you! :-)" Heh heh - Thanks for this. Looking forward to going into the City soon, but spent a day at Long Beach.... Fab!

And thanks for the music suggestions too.

Her B-sides are just as good as the stuff on her albums. :)
