We're overdue for a PJH/John Parish collaboration.

It was 13 years after the 1996 collab Dance Hall at Louse Point that 2009's A Man A Woman Walked By came out.

Bravo!!

First rate research.

Of all the PJH albums, ITD is the most powerful in my opinion.

Thank you DrDark! I just got back from the Friday show, I thought it was brilliant. I was farther back than you were so no photos, and I've never been at all good at remembering set lists. But I can tell you that she did not play, Angelene, Send His Love to Me, C'mon Billy, or White Chalk. She ...

I've got an incomplete handful of mp3s from that album:

1. Girls Boys Men Women
2. Yell Hollow
3. Putty
4. So You Got a Horse

They're mixed in with 3 tracks from the unreleased 1990 album "Here Catch Shouted His Father".

I can upload if you want, but they're low bit rate (96-196 kbps)

Added "2022" to the thread title.

Using the link H&HW supplied you can click the "Gigography Quick Reference" link on that page which will show you the entire list of shows on on a new page.

A search for "Jool" on that new page can be done by pressing Control F (Ctrl and F keys pressed simultaneously) which brings up a search box ...

Welcome aboard Orange Monkey.

Better late then never

^ Good luck with that.

I can see her doing a tiny 'secret' show or two over the years, but I don't see her doing actual tours (in which normal fans would be able to see her) again. Someone here posted a year or two ago that she had closed down the financial entity that encompassed her tours.

Anyone still hoping that Polly will tour and perform her music again someday should consider this:

"In the early 1980s Van Vliet established an association with the Galerie Michael Werner in Cologne. Eric Feldman stated later in an interview that at that time Michael Werner told Van Vliet he needed ...

It appears Polly has completed the transition from musical artist to poet. It seems clear to me that she's following the path of her idol Don Van Vliet (1941-2010).

"I feel very fortunate in my life, for many reasons. One of these reasons is coming across such as man as Don Van Vliet, through his ...

Thanks for transcribing and posting this. I don't think I've ever seen this. Fascinating stuff. She was SO incredibly open then.

This predates even the earliest article (1993) transcribed at the archived room509.net website:
