The opening lines are a slight adaptation of the opening lines of Yeats' 'The Song of Wandering Aengus' - I went out to the hazel wood/because a fire was in my head'.... and so i've always thought it was 'head', not 'hair'

I really don't - can't - consider it accidental. I feel quite sure that it's a deliberate layering.
